Within the State of Michigan our partner carrier network includes heavy haul drayage carriers with the capability to move containers weighing up to 75,000 pounds including the tare weight to any point within the state.

Intermodal

As a full service 3PL, we are able to move freight across any mode including rail. By using our partnership with several major rail carriers we are able to offer cost effective intermodal solutions for most types of freight from anywhere in the US/Canada or Mexico to anywhere in the US, Canada or Mexico.

Benefits of moving your freight intermodal include:

  • Cost Savings – Intermodal rates can be up to half the cost of an equivalent truckload shipment if you have an extra one to three days to get your freight where it needs to be.
  • Higher Visibility – Since they move on the rail carrier network, there are frequent automated updates to the freight’s position as it moves towards its destination that can be found easily on the rail carrier’s website.
  • Security – Each container/trailer/rail car is sealed at origin and whenever it’s not in transit between two stations, it’s held in a secured container yard or siding.
